Already encountering problems of overpopulation, dilapidation and poverty, the church should be engaged in extending god’s hand in improving the quality of life in India, by promoting what humanists and free thinkers have been advocating all along.

Instead, the Catholic church is now encouraging its people to have more children, in a direct confrontation with the government’s two-child policy. One of the ridiculous reasons behind this initiative is the dwindling numbers of Catholic people, especially in the once catholic-majority state of Kerala.
In a planet that is already overcrowded beyond its means, human beings are destroying themselves slowly but surely. There is nothing supernatural about the world coming to an end. We are causing it ourselves.
